Zhao Yan (1982-), born in Tangshan, Hebei province, graduated from the School of Fine Arts & Design at Hebei Normal University in 2009 with a master's degree, specializing in figure inkwash painting. She is currently a full-time painter at Beijing Fine Art Academy, a national first-class artist, and a member of the China Artists Association.
