Xie Miao (1980 -), born in Jinzhou, Liaoning, graduated from the Fine Arts School Affiliated to Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2000, the Fine Arts Department of the PLA Academy of Arts in 2004, and the Tian Liming Studio of the School of Chinese Painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2007. She specializes in contemporary ink figure painting and has a master’s degree. She previously worked at the Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution as a full-time art creator. Xie is currently a professional painter at the Beijing Fine Art Academy, a third-class artist, and a member of the China Artists Association.
