Nan Haiyan born in Ping Yuan County of Shandong Province in 1962, graduated from Art Department of Texas Teachers College in 1982. In 1994, he pursued advanced studies at the Wang Mingming Studio in Beijing Fine Art Academy, and learned a lot from Lu Chen, Zhou Sicong and Yao Youduo, etc. He held his personal exhibitions in Beijing and Taiwan and published "Nan Haiyan Paintings", "Fine Collections of Contemporary Artists - Nan Haiyan "," Podrtraits from Nan Haiyan", etc. Now he is the member of Chinese Artists Association, the Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the first-class artist of Beijing Fine Art Academy.
