Nickname Rongjing，hometown is Chang Hua of Zhejiang province. In 1924, she graduated from attached Middle School to Public Female Senior Teachers College. In the same year, learning embroidery and painting at Female Vocational School; in1027, joined Chinese Painting Institute; in 1931, assist professor, Chinese Painting Institute; in 1932, assist professor, Jin Hua Arts Academy; in 1933 tutor of claborate-style painting, North China Institute; 1934, tutor of claborate-style painting, He Bei Female Vocational School.      Hong Yi joined Chinese Painting Institute in her early years, apprenticed to Zhao Mengzhu. Her claborate-style paintings inherited " Decorate Flower and Dot leaves" traditional skill, Shaped graceful painting style after long term practicing combined copy with sketch skills. Joined Beijing Chinese Painting Academy after China's Foundation, went deep to people's daily life, reflecting the spirit of the times, eager for "innovation", shaped her own unique appearance.
