Introduction of the lecture:

Mr.Lv lixin is invited to give us the opening speech of the Qi Baishi’s art research serious lectures. Mr.Lv is the vice

general secretary of art works evaluation commission of Ministry of Culture of China and also had made the keynote speech on the

“Lecture Room” of CCTV 10.

Mr.Lv focused on the research of modern Chinese art for many years and had published a lot of research monographs with more than

a hundred thousand words.

Mr.Lv is good at use simple language to convey art knowledge and his speech characterized humorous and penetrating. For this

time, the speech will focus on the great achievement of Qi Baishi though the important events happened in the artist’s art

career.

Introduction of the lecturer:

Mr.Lv lixin who born in 5th March 1964 is vice general secretary of Art Works Evaluation Commission of Culture Market

Development Center of Ministry of Culture of China, office manager, Executive member and researcher of Beijing University

Industrial and Culture Research Institution, concurrent professor of Hebei Polytechnic University and head of “Public Records

of 20th Century Fine Art Works” project.

Graduated from the Chinese Department of Hebei University in 1986, he studied on Chinese traditional art appreciate and invest

from 1996 and made brilliant achievements. He organized the selection of “ten of the most important issues in Chinese art

market” and the project of “Public Records of 20th Century Fine Art Works”. Because of his work he granted the “outstanding

contribution reward” by Ministry of Culture of China in 2007. He is keynote speaker of the symposium “Art Collection and

Invest” in Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, the symposium “Chinese contemporary art and invest” of Qihuan University,

“Art appreciation and management seminar” in Qihua university and keynote speaker of “Lecture Room” of CCTV 10.

Methods of Participant:

1. The lecture is free for the public; participants can also visit the exhibition. As the seats are limited, please make the

appointment by telephone in advance.

2. Participants can get the ticket by telephone number, ID card or other valid certificates a half hour before the opening of

the lecture at the museum’s front door.

3. Please observe the rules of visiting and do not linger at the lecture room.
