Introduction of Wang Luxiang:
Mr.Wang born in Hu Nan Province 1956, and studied in dept. of Chinese language and literature, Xiang Tan University, 1982 graduated and worked in the university, 1984 Mr.Wang studied in philosophy dept. Beijing University and then graduated as master, 1987 he taught at dept. of Chinese language and literature, Capital Normal University and quitted on 1992. 2000, Mr.Wang taught at Tsinghua University Art Academy, 2001, worked as senior consultant of Phoenix satellite TV, general conductor of China, host of Century Lecture, host and conductor of Culture Grand View Garden.
Introduction of the Lecture:
As part of Series Lectures of 20th Century Chinese Art Masters—Li Keran, Li Keran’s Sketches is organized by the education dept of Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy, Mr.Wang studied Li Keran for many years, in his lecture he will begin from Chinese Painting’s crisis in 1950s, and the discuss about mountain-and-water painting’s development in 1980s, he will also explain why Li Keran chose the way of making sketches outside to improve his art techniques. From the three aspects, Mr.Wang will narrate the process how Li Keran found his way in depicting New China’s landscapes with traditional Chinese painting methods.
