Introduction of Speaker
Zhu Jingsheng, 1962 born in Beijing, graduated from Beijing Union University (major in Chinese), Capital Normal University (major in calligraphy) and Chinese National Academy of Arts (Art History). Currently he is the vice researcher of Chinese National Academy of Arts, major in the critical of 20th century Chinese painting, calligraphy and seal cutting. His book Chen Banding (陈半丁) won the 3rd award culture and art research project, Beijing Artist Chen Banding (陈半丁) won the 3rd award of Research Fruit Chinese National Academy of Arts 2002, The Spirit of Xieyi(大写意的风神) won the excellent thesis award. The author also had participate the construction of Chen Banding Memorial (陈半丁纪念馆)，organized the symposium of Chen Banding and 20th century Beijing Chinese Painting, now he participated the Beijing and Tianjing Painting Research.
Introduction of Lecture:
Change style in Qi’s Late Years is a important point in Qi Baishi’s art’s success, and Chen Shizeng (陈师曾) is a key figure in Qi’s Change, these has been considered as a decision. However Mr.Zhu has different opinion in Chen’s poem on Borrow Mountains Scroll, and Qi Baishi’s autobiography and Hu Peiheng (胡佩衡)’s recall can’t match each other either, which one is more objective, and more comprehensive? The lecture reveals some hided things in Qi Baishi’s autobiography though Zhu’s analysis and comparison.
