Wang Qingsheng’s Fifty years on Fine-Brush Bird-and-Flower Painting

         The exhibition of Wang Qingsheng’s Fifty years on Fine-Brush Bird-and-Flower Painting will be opened on 9:30 6th Jun.2012 at Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy, and last to 11th Jun.

         Wang Qingsheng who worked at Beijing Fine Art Academy is a famous fine-brush artist; he is very hard working all his life, even over eighty years old, he didn’t stop painting. The exhibition is Wang’s first solo exhibition which will display about one hundred paintings from the artist, including mountain-and- water, bird-and-flower and figure paintings. The exhibition will present comprehensive scenery of the artist’s art development, his painting techniques and fifty years of tradition study. Wang Qingsheng’s painting inherited the royal style of Song Dynasty, audience can find his good techniques and fresh style which owns traditional character and his personal feature in his painting. In his painting, tradition is not only a sort of painting, some techniques but also spirit and quality.

         He had painted for Zhong Nanhai, Diaoyu Islands, Reception Room of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference etc. a lot of Wang’s paintings also collected by art museums both domestic and overseas.

         The exhibition is hosted by Beijing Artists Association, Beijing Fine Art Academy and organized by Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy.
