The exhibition Monologue on My Way will be opened on 11th Jan.2013 at Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy and will last to 16th Jan. More than forty oil paintings from Ma Lin will be displayed in the exhibition.

         Malin is one of the out-standing young artists emerging these years in Chinese art circle, his oil painting often awarded and included in the domestic and oversee exhibition. Malin graduated from sculpture dept. Hebei Craft Academy, 2003 graduated from research class of oil painting dept. CAFA, currently, Malin is an artist of Beijing Fine Art Institution, National first grand artist. The expression of light and shadow is a strong character of Malin’s painting, and the artist with the attitude of a Chinese oil painter to reflect the charming of light and shadow. However the lights are very subjective, no matter it is on the wasteland or on girl’s face. These lights on canvas extend complex feelings of hope, lonely, sad or uncertain etc, it also reflect people’s emotion during society’s transform period. Just because the emotion behind painting, he is different from traditional western oil painting.

         Step by step is a principle during art creation, art creation just like the journey during climbing the mountain, the journey is full of joy and hard work. However the breakthrough is also reasonable in art development. Monologue on My Way just like artist’s emotion state, therefore, the exhibition not only a middle conclusion during artist’s middle age but also a summary after art proceeding.
