20th Jan 2013, the exhibition of Art·Realm Wang Jia’s European Travels will be opened at Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Institution. With the clue of seeing and thinking during journeys in Europe, though more than hundreds of photographs and writings, and though the lens of inter-culture and contemplation, the author will present audience a different European art view scenery.

        Wang Jia (b.1983 in Beijing) graduated from University of Westminster with the master degree of Musical Commercial Management. Currently worked at National museum as curator, as a child Wang Jia had influenced by art and different kinds of music since he was a child, he loves fashion and photograph, the exhibition selected records during Wang’s travelling, including art museums in Germany, French and Italy etc, famous people’s formal residences and art areas.

         With camera and view, Wang Jia painted a journey scroll of European artist, paintings, exotic music, architecture, history and culture. From van Gogh to Rembrandt, from Bach to Mozart, and even the great writer Victor Hugo’s paintings, his feelings combined history and art though painting, architecture, literature design, and though light, color, structure and perspective. Audience can learn unique aesthetic appreciation and culture charming during the meeting of European history and culture. Music can still be heart, ancient dreams can still be felt, time left its steps in old buildings, though the exhibition audience can see European culture in short. Besides, because of work, these art works and recordings considering museum, exhibition curating, design and arrangements, the new aspect will give audience a fresh impression.

         Mr.Chen Lvsheng, the director of National Museum mentioned in his articles “when Wang Jia presents the exhibition, I am not only the witness of Wang’s growth, the exhibition also reminded me the experiences when I travelled with him. I had been some museums in the exhibition, as colleague, he guided me to travel in some places, from Florence to Seine. I learned ‘When three persons walking together, one of them is my teacher’. Of course, from the exhibition I learned more from Wang Jia:  hardworking under his fashion appearance, these recordings and observation express his knowledge and interest, these are his basis for further achievement.” The paragraph is a professional explanation of the exhibition, meanwhile, it is also approval and expect from the director.

         If the exhibition is an art work of Wangjia, Wangjia is an art work of his father Wang Mingming. As an artist and works at different places, Mr.Wang reviewed the growth process of Wangjia, and analysis it though the aspect of art education, he said “I continue thinking about our education, how far we can go if we only focus on scores not moral character, focus on education background not on capacity. Wangjia makes the tortuous experience into calm, he is not good at all topics but he knows how to make good use of his advantage. Kindness and honest make him feel the warmness, wide interest make him aware the broad art spirit. After returning to China six years ago, he experienced tough period of adopting himself to the domestic environment, he knowns how to deal with complicate relationships, and makes knowledge into wisdom during his study in art ocean, and he learns that art’s essential is inside people’s heart not just techniques, and understands that the wisdom of east and west art is the same. He gradually matured, this kind of mature is clean mature, is a kind of ability to control his own destiny.” This is not only appraising from the inner of the father, but also the same pursuit of the father and his son.

         The exhibition will be closed on 27th Jan.2013, the book Art·Realm—WangJia’s European Travels will be issued at the same time of the exhibition , this is not only a recording and combing of art journeys, it is also a discussion about the education method of “read book, walk mils”, it is also a theme about “A man should be independent at the age of thirty”.
