Organized by the Beijing Fine Art Academy, "2021 The Annual Spring Exhibition of Paintings" will be officially opened in the Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy on March 26, 2021. The Annual Spring Exhibition of Paintings was originated in 1959 as a brand exhibition since Beijing Chinese Painting Research Association to Beijing Fine Art Academy. Focusing on the artistic achievements of active painters in Beijing Fine Art Academy , for the past few years , it tries to fulfill Chairman Zhu De's expectation of " The Annual Spring Exhibition of Paintings " and painting creation as to "serving as a connecting link between the past and the future to make the painting art of the motherland more colorful," in 1962.
Planning for the exhibition began as early as the 60th anniversary of the Academy in 2017, and it finally started with the public in this spring. We have selected the excellent works of 31 active painters from four studios of Beijing Fine Art Academy, namely Landscape, Flowers and Birds, Figure Painting and Oil Painting, and divided them into two periods to enjoy with you. At the same time, it also sorts out the development and changes of the " The Annual Spring Exhibition of Paintings " and its achievements in the past 60 years through historical documents. We hoped that this exhibition can not only show the creative power of the Beijing Fine Art Academy and the path of artistic exploration and practice of painters in the new era, but also allow everyone to seek a broader space for development through mutual discussion and self-examination. The exhibition runs until April 24.
