on the road, art exhibition of Xu Huaxiang’s ink painting

    Curated by Du dakai, Shanghui, organized by museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy, propaganda department of Zhang jiagang, International Shuxiang Society, Magazine,  and hosted by He Fei Normal collage of art and media ,  the new SMG of Zhang Jiagang, four seasons art center, will be open at 10 a.m. 17th December, at museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy. More than 70 pieces of work will be exhibited in this exhibition. 
 
    Xu Huaxiang is an artist who persisted in the break-throughs in his 50s. In his 35-year art career, he has accomplished the transformation from tradition to contemporary, especially since he organized and attended the “four season ink art exhibition” with Du Dakai and Shanghui, he has devoted all his efforts to the contemporary explanation to Chinese art and the exploration of new expressions of the ink art. After he entered the International Shuxiang Society, Xu Huaxiang put his 30 year of accumulation into the context of the contemporary art, and after the four stages of polishing, contrast, break-through and transformation, he has totally changed his former mutual  style, and become more free and carefree. 30-year’s basic training in art not only did not limited his transformation, but also become the effective source of new art language. The works exhibited this time are the combination of traditional spirit and  stylized plane, new language style. The positive exploration spirit of Xu Huaxiang has an extraordinary meaning and value to the development of contemporary ink art, which is worth deep interpretation.
 
    This exhibition will be last until 1:00 p.m. 22nd December.
