2015 Wash-Ink for Seasons: Nomination Exhibition of Excellent Contemporary Chinese Painting Artists

      Organized by Beijing Wash-Ink for Seasons Cultural & Arts Center and Shan Dong Zun Da cultural communication co. , ltd, “2015 Wash-Ink for Seasons: Nomination Exhibition of Excellent Contemporary Chinese Painting Artists” will be open at 10:30 a.m., 30th October, 2015.
8 years have passed since the first“Wash-Ink for Seasons” exhibition took place in 2008.  The initial purpose of this exhibition was offering a theme of “changing seasons” to the wash-ink painting, with the time run by, the seasons themselves have become the trace of the exhibition has traveled. Looking back,“Wash-Ink for Seasons”never limit itself in the idealization of the modern transformation of the Chinese painting. It seeks the estimation of how and how much this kind of exploration has been connected to the traditional Chinese painting. One thing has never changed though: to build up a platform for the outstanding contemporary wash-ink artists to exhibit their research, and interact with the viewers openly.
   

       The artists who attend the“Wash-Ink for Seasons: Nomination Exhibition of Excellent Contemporary Chinese Painting Artists”have relatively unique and distinct style and language of work. For the eight years, these artists chosen by the “Wash-Ink for Seasons”has almost included the artists ranging from the 30s to the 70s who has the spirit of discovery and at the same time, remained their personalized language. Just as Shang Hui, the academic chair said, “With academic curatorial philosophy, “Wash-Ink for Seasons”has fixed the most valuable works in the coordinate of history of art, which is the leadership it played in the past 8 years as a academic brand.” The artists in this Nomination Exhibition of Wash-Ink for Seasons are:Liu Dewei(Zimo), Du Dakai, Liu Jude, Liu Mu, Zhang Peicheng, Lao Pu, Zhou Jinxin, Chen Hui, Xu Huaxiang, Fang Xiang, Lei Ziren, Qiu Ting.


       This exhibition will show over 80 pieces of works of the 12 artists,  the contents include landscape, figure, flower-and-bird painting from both metropolitan and rural, it demonstrates the artists’ character though various themes, not only focus on the artistic expressing of the artists but also has academic exploration. The modernity of the Chinese painting is therefore interpreted by their own language.  
The Exhibition will be open until 4th November.
