       In order to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the death of Li Keran, CPPCC Calligraphy and Painting Office, Art Division of People's Republic of China Ministry of Culture, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture, Chinese Artists Association, Central Academy of Fine Arts, China National Academy of Painting, Beijing Artists Association, Beijing Fine Art Academy and Li Keran Art Foundation co-organized “The World of Li Keran Series Painting Exhibition (Landscape)”. This exhibition will be open in December 5 in Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy, and last to January 22, 2015.
 
       Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy launched “The World of Li Keran Series Painting Exhibition” from December 5, 2010, researched and showed the great achievements of Li Keran by figure, painting from nature, cattle and calligraphy four subjects. This landscape exhibition is the most significant part of the series exhibition. Paintings of this exhibition mainly came from Zou Peizhu and collection agencies, concentrated on showing the 70 masterpieces of Li Keran from 1943 to 1989, there are several characteristics of the exhibition:
 
       Four parts showed the evolution of the landscape painting style of Li Keran
Li Keran is one of the most influential artists in twentieth century, he fused the Chinese and western art and developed traditional landscape. This exhibition divided into four parts based on the transformation of the research process of Li Keran, including Tradition and Contemporary, Painting from Nature, Painting for Mountain and River, Endless Landscape, showed the evolution of Li Keran’s landscape painting.
 
       Tradition and Contemporary
       This part shows Li Keran’s paintings which researched the traditional painting methods in his early periods from teenager to 1953.
 
       Painting from Nature
       This part exhibits painting created from 1960s to the time of culture revolution, Li Keran developed his landscape painting  from traditional to modern artistic conception after painting from nature.
 
       Painting for Mountain and River
       This part exhibits work created in the time of culture revolution by Li Keran on the theme of “red subject”, he develop more generalized painting methods in this period and formed a concept of “painting for mountain and river in motherland”.
 
       Endless Landscape
       This part exhibits paintings in the prosperity periods of Li Keran, shows the typical appearance of his works, and marks the artist's creative peak.
 
       Except for the representative work in every period of Li Keran, this exhibition also displays the sketches, painting quotations, photos of life and video materials collected by Beijing Fine Art Academy, shows the artistic road of Li Keran comprehensively.
 
       Two Red Mountain are exhibited at the same time.
       Li Keran created 7 Red Mountain in 50s to 60s last century, and they are collected in different agencies. These two which exhibited in this exhibition are come from Li Keran’s family and Beijing Fine Art Academy. This piece collected in Beijing Fine Art Academy is the most excellent one, and another similar one is sold by nearly 3 billion in Poly spring auction in 2012.

       In order to lie in with the exhibition, the video Li Keran is played in the exhibition hall to review “The World of Li Keran series exhibition”.
 
       In addition, audiences can scan the two-dimensional under the label of works to get the tour guide. Relevant academic lectures will be held during the exhibition, we will invite the son of Li Keran, the famous painter Li Xiaoke to give a deep interpretation of Li Keran’s exploration in the art of landscape painting.
