Li Keran is one of the most important artist in 20th century China，he also made great improvement in the transition of Chinese traditional painting.The exhibition retrospected Li Keran’s figure paintings, it will be open on 2:30p.m. 5th Dec. 2010 at Beijing Fine Art Academy and will last to 4th. Jan.2011.

          The exhibtion is co-hosted by Calligraphy &Painting Workshop of the CPPCC, China Artists Association, CAFA, China Fine Art Academy, Beijing Artists Association, Beijing Fine Art Academy, Li Keran Art Foundation and organized by Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy, co-organized by Beijing Kechuang culture company. About 40 figure paintings and about 20 watercolor paintings etc. included in the exhibition. The exhibition made a retrospect at the art career of Li Keran and displayed the art master’s art achievements.

          The paintings collected in the exhibition are mainly from Beijing Fine Art Academy and Li Keran Art Foundation, some paintings also from the personal collecting and other art institutes like CAFA and Art Museum of Li Keran. These paintings created between the 1920s to 1980s, mostly covered the figure paintings creation in all his life, audience can see the Mr.Li’s art development and character. With the art documents, the exhibition also explained the art activities and research fruits of the artist, such as the recomments about Mr.Li from Laoshe, Qi Baishi etc.
