The exhibition of Respect to Great Treasure will be hold in Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy from 17th Sep. to 27th Sep.2010, the exhibition is co-organized by China Artists Association, Calligraphy &Painting Workshop of the CPPCC, Beijing Artists Association and Beijing Fine Art Academy, around seventies calligraphy art works from Wang Mingming will be show in the exhibition. Mr.Wang is a prestigious artist currently; he is good at Chinese traditional painting in landscape, bird and flower, figure etc. He does not confined his calligraphy in painting, the exhibition is a comprehensive show after his long period study of calligraphy, and it is also an important exhibition after his serious exhibition of bird and flower, hand scroll and album of Chinese painting in Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy.

         As a painter Mr.Wang is a precursor in holding calligraphy exhibition, his art expresses a distinguish understanding of calligraphy from the aspect of a painter. The practice of Mr.Wang makes us contemplate on the old Chinese aesthetic theme “Calligraphy and Painting share the same origin”. With the opening of the exhibition, the catalogue Respect for Great Tradition ----the collected calligraphy of Wang Mingming which is published by Guangxi Fine Arts Publishing House will also meet the audience. Mr. Wang benefited a lot from the edification of Li Kuchan, Xu Zhiqian, Dun Lifu, Qi Gong etc., and his art expresses a kind of literati culture character. This exhibition will open a window to the contemporary calligraphy development to the audience.
