The exhibition will be opened in 20th Aug. 2010 in Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy and will last to 31st Aug. The exhibition is sponsored by China Artists Association, Beijing Fine Art Academy, Beijing Artists Association, Propaganda Department of Gansu Province Government, Literary Federation of Gansu Province Government, Gansu Province Artists Association, and organized by Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy.
Born in 1942 in Longxi Gansu, Mo Jiancheng is a council member of China Artists Association and the chairman of Gansu Province Artists Association. He embarked on the research of Chinese traditional painting for a long period; Mr.Mo is a famous fine brushwork artist with local characteristic.
The paintings of Mr.Mo joined the tradition methods, the geographical features of northwest areas and his own character, and express a kind of distinguished fresh and tranquil art quality. Among the paintings of Mr.Mo, the art works of pine tree, crane and lotus are the most distinguished. Mr.Mo’s deep traditional culture and the distinguished art beauty endow his painting a kind of philosophy meaning. This is Mr.Mo’s contribution to fine brush paintings.
A symposium about Mr.Mo’s paintings will accompany with the exhibition, though the discussion and communication audience will understand more the beauty of Mr.Mo’s painting.
