The exhibition of “Art Works from Wu Xiu Studio, Academy of Arts &Design Tsinghua University” will be hold from 23 to 28 April 2010 in Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art University. This exhibition is sponsored by China Artists Association, Beijing Fine Art Academy and Academy of Arts &Design Tsinghua University.

         During Wu Xiu’s sixty years of art career he was the vice director of Beijing Fine Art Academy, member of China Artists Association, Chinese calligraphers association, the director of Chinese research association of poem, calligraphy and painting. There are about sixty paintings on view: paintings in the grand floor are the selected works from Wu Xiu, paintings in the second floor are from Wang Qingjie, Zhou Yingru, Li Qiang, Wu Yunzhi, Bi Lijun, Zhu Honghui, Gao Feng, Zhang Yuchen. Wu Xiu brought his students to Huangshan to create art works even he is already eighty years old this year, during the education travel he make examples for his students personally. Communications and criticism are welcomed in the exhibition.
