          The solo oil painting exhibition of contemporary artist Shi Qi will be on view from 16th to 21st April 2010 in Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy, the exhibition is considered as an exhibition of “aestheticism”. The exhibition of Chinoiserie---Oil Paintings from Shi Qi is sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, China Artists Association, China National Academy of Painting, Beijing Fine Art Academy, organized by RiYing Group, and assisted by research association of the art of Shi Qi and Beijing Shi Qi century cultural company.
 
          The exhibition selected about 120 oil paintings from 1960s to today.
 
          Aestheticism is the pursuit of Shi Qi, experienced years exploration he is very sensitive to the beauty of form and also has a very personal expression of it. Spectators will find his art language characterized of Chinese Painting and Chinese calligraphy, and his colors characterized of Chinese architecture, Chinese technology and Chinese costume. Shi Qi is inspired by Chinese culture and his art combined western classic style and the technologies of modern oil painting to convey the Chinoiserie as song as dream.
