“Life of ink and Colour Painting” – Pan Yihang’s recent work painting exhibition which hosted by Beijing Fine Art Academy will be open in the Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy from 8th-15th April. Themed by “life of ink and colour painting”, this exhibition will present reside-in-American artist Pan Yihang’s work in the recent years. Based on his daily life, he deliberately observed details of his daily life in United States - Family warmth and rumpus swimming pool have all represent artist’s accumulated emotions for over 20 years. The combination between the usage of Chinese traditional painting material and western painting technique also make the artist’s work stand out by the unique artistic language, which he expresses on his art-exploring path. Since 2008, Pan Yihang’s work has been holding exhibitions continuously in cities’ galleries such as Hangzhou, Shanghai and Nantong etc, this exhibition in Beijing Fine Art Academy is his first ever exhibition in Beijing.

Mr. Pan has once comment that “Chinese local artists’ artistic situation are superior to himself”, facing the Chinese painters who have a sudden rise in social status and the increasingly prosperous art market, he always persevered on his artistic idea “artists cannot speculate and manipulate for self-interest, they cannot choose history, only history can decide one artist’s destiny.”
