The National style under the Brush – The Landscape painting exhibition of Beijing Fine Art Academy’s best collections
Traditional Chinese landscape painting is the product of the ancient Chinese aerial farming period, as China entered modern society, the features of 20th century’s landscape painting has experienced profound changes. This exhibition is using over 50 paintings to present the development history of 20th century Chinese landscape painting’s transformation. All the maestros including Huang Binhong, Zhang Daqian, Fu Baoshi and Li Keran etc. all of their starry and splendid works are included in this exhibitions. The person styles have include from the ancient traditional technique from late Qing Dynasty, the representation of New China’s beloved mountains, to the majestic new environment of the opening of New era’s landscape painting style. These development processes has reflect that Chinese traditional landscape painting are finally entering modern history’s cateloge and people’s aesthetic view. From these works we can re-witness maestro’s exploring footmarks and recognize the history of 20th century Chinese landscape painting’s transformation process.
