Mr. Wang passed away on 15th Jan 2008. From over thousand of his works in his entire artistic career, we have chosen over one hundred excellent ones to present in this exhibition, in order to dedicate our heartfelt memories of him.

          Mr. Wang is diligent and live by his pen throughout his life, he uses comics to castigate evil and eulogize the good. His works have enlightens audiences to think by making them laugh. He is a good and honest person who never publicizes himself. Although he has experienced frustrations, his heart is fulfilling with sunshine. He loves his country and has the well being of the people at heart, no detail is overlooked for his own work and social works, take seriously of all his responsibilities.

          Mr. Wang’s works include various themes, with multiple style and fertile imagination. His comic language is cautious and clever, with exaggerated and preciseness modeling. He has inherited the tradition of Chinese comic – to act as a mirror of reality. The paintings have unique aesthetic thoughts in order to formulate sharp but distinct questions. These works has fully represented a human being’s good conscience, ability, wisdom and responsibility. Under the warmth caring and support from the leaders and comrades of The Comic Art Committee of Chinese Artists’ Association, Beijing Artist’ Association, Beijing Fine Art Academy and Beijing Evening, It is the best way to remember him by displaying his works to all the audiences once again
