The Four Seasons’ Ink•Spring – The Exhibition of the Nominated Contemporary excellent Chinese Traditional Painting Artists

The Four Seasons can understand as time sequence, summer after spring, autumn after summer, winter after autumn, repeat this process again and again. However, “Year after year the blossoms look alike, while people never remain the same”. The spring in each year can never be the same and vice versa. “The Four Seasons” can also understand as active, passive or unexpected development and supersession of notions, styles and forms etc. These changes, regardless of whether it’s for present or future, are full of tension and space of galloping imagination. The exhibition in the Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy is the premier of series, as the spring exhibition; the summer exhibition will be in Shanghai Liu Haisu Art Museum, the autumn exhibition in Shanxi Province Art Museum, and the final winter exhibition in Shenzhen Art Museum. This year will be a short but lengthy mental contest for these ten artists. Art is always facing ideals; the creation process of art is the process that reaching the ideals, the distance between reality and ideality are a sort of foreordination. Thus, the process for artists to reach ideality are always fail to carry, it is hard to say whether artists are fortunate or unfortunate; as for the success and failure of an exhibition, it will let audiences to judge.
