This exhibition has received great support from both countries’ government and artistic field; it has brought together 45 recent paintings from 15 excellent artists in this exhibition.

Both China and Korea are located in Eastern Asia, with similar artistic cultural traditions. In modern times, “The West Wind Gradually Blows to the East", Eastern culture has been deeply influenced by Western culture and is facing unprecedented challenges. Therefore, how to promote traditional culture’s modernize transformation has become the common historical task for both countries. In this historical process, Chinese and Korean artists have to inherit tradition and absorb foreign nourishment in order to make worshipful exploration for their national culture development in this Eastern and Western art-blended era. Based on this common historical task, this exhibition is trying to construct a platform that make zero distance for both countries’ artist to make artistic exchanges, to build a more realistic opportunity for China and Korea’s cultural, artistic intercourse.
