“Qi Baishi Art International Research Centre” and “Traditional Chinese Painting Research Centre” 2013 annual work conference was held in Beijing Conference Center from 24th to 26th October.

 

 

  Qi Baishi Art International International Center and Traditional Chinese Painting Research Center were established at the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Beijing Fine Art Academy on May 14, 2012. (Hereinafter referred to as “two centers”) Based on the promotion of national culture and highlighting the responsibility and mission of Beijing Fine Art Academy as a national professional academic institution, two centers implement the academy’s research tasks and make contributions to the prosperity and development of Chinese painting and academic research. During this year, under the care and guidance of the Ministry of Culture and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of culture, the researchers of two centers actively participated in and support the work, organized a number of fruitful academic activities and actively promoted the study of Qi Baishi art and traditional Chinese painting. In order to summarize the work of the past year, strengthen the communication between researchers and discuss the work plan of the next year, Beijing Fine Art Academy will hold 2013 Annual Work Conference of Qi Baishi Art International Research Center and Traditional Chinese Painting Research Center in Beijing Conference Center on October 24 to 26, 2013. More than forty experts and scholars attended the meeting, including two centers’ consultants, researchers, and the members of other museums and art galleries.
