Art Career:
Lu Fusheng(卢辅圣), his courtesy name is Fu Sheng（甫圣）, born in 1949, Dongyang Zhejiang Province, president and chief editor of Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publisher , Chairman of Duoyun Xuan (朵云轩)， vice President of Shanghai Artists Association, tutor of China Fine Arts Academy, College of Fine Arts of Shanghai University. He loves poetry and painting since his youth, he began art career during Culture Revolution and major in oil painting, after the resuming college entrance examination, Mr.Lu studied in Zhe Jiang Academy of Fine Arts and turned his focus on Chinese painting and Chinese Art History Research, published Haven and Man, Calligraphy Ecosystem, The History of Chinese Literati’s Painting etc.
Brief Introduction of the Lecture:
Chinese literati painting is an unique art phenomenon in the word, with the long history of about 1000 years, it not only refined the painting form to the highest level, but also its bimo(笔墨) is very approaching to abstract, it not only increase the form of paintings, literati life make art more elaborate, but also improved the paintings’ value, these paintings are parts of artist’s character, on this point, these literati’s painting surpassed professional artists’ painting. Although the literati’s painting has disintegrated, as a culture heritage, it still influences art today and in the future.
