Li Xiaoke’s Experience in Tibet 2011-11-22

2011-11-15,accompanied with the exhibition of Steps in Tibet ----Print Paintings from Li Xiaoke , the public education dept of Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy invited Mr.Li Xiaoke who is the chef Director of Li Keran’s Art Foundation, Director of Huangshan Calligraphy and Painting Institute.

 

The prints exhibition is inspired by photographs taken during his twenty times in Tibet area, in the lecture, he shared his experiences with audiences and explained how he use new media to make these prints.

 

Mr.Li think Tibet gives him a lot of movements and experiences which he considered very cherish, how can we make resources from our modern life and traditional culture into our art creature, we need to communicate with the times to form our personal art character. Not only find in tradition but also find a way to join art and life together, and the way hide artist’s own language structure and Bimo skills. Maintain a peaceful mood during the creation will make art works more impressive.

 

The lecture is popularized by amateurs and university students, about 30 minutes’ ask and answer section make audience understand Mr.Li’s art better.
