Pu Yunyu (Late)

Pu Yun-Yu (1920 - 1982)   Beijingers, Man Nationality. Qing Danasty Guang Xu Emperor's niece, the sixth younger sister of Pu Yi. Because of this, she got the opportunity when she was little to copy Song and Yuan Dynasty famous paintings. Qing Dynasty Hun Nan-tian boneless especially attracted her, later she specialized in traditional skill of Hun faction, created combined traditional skills with sketch; her early works had been taken part in Ancient and Modern Masters Calligraphy Exhibition held by Chinese Tourism Society, exhibition of Chinese Painting Research Society and so on; in 1947 she held union exhibitions with Wang Ai-lan successively in Beijing Beihai Park & Zhongshan Park; After the founding of New China, her works on several occasions to be participated in art exhibitions internally and externally.   Some commentators appraised her works, as "unique, elegant and vivid". She also has been served in Chinese Artists Association.
