Shao Fei

Shao Fei born in Beijing in 1954, studied painting with her mother (Shao Jingkun, professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts) from childhood. In 1976, she began to work in Beijing Fine Art Academy. In 1984, her works were rewarded for the Highly Commended Award of Beijing's “Painting Exhibition for Celebration of 35 Anniversary of China". She had put on many show of her painting successively in ACORN Gallery of Liverpool, AKO HANDVEI KSTED Gallery in Oslo, Norway, Rotterdam, the Netherlands DOELEN Arts Center, Modern China Art Gallery in Osaka, Japan, the United States Iowa Museum of Fine Arts, Asia Art Center in Vancouver, Canada, modern China Art Gallery, Taiwan Yan Huang Museum of Art in Kaohsiung, Singapore Art Museum, the Hong Kong Arts Center, Macau, City Hall, Penang Institute of the Arts Gallery in Malaysia, National Museum of China. Her works were collected by National Museum of China, Beijing Artists Association, Hong Kong Museum of Art and Taiwan Museum of Art and so on. Now she is the member of Chinese Artists Association and the first-class artist of Beijing Fine Art Academy.
