Fan Chen (1972 --) was born in Beijing. Graduated from the Middle School attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the School of Ethnology and Sociology of Central University for Nationalities, successively obtaining Bachelor of Arts, Master of Fine Arts, and Doctor of Laws degrees. Former general Equipment Department, Art creation member of art studio of Space System Department. Now is a full-time painter of Beijing Art Academy, a member of Chinese Artists Association, a member of Jiang Zhaohe Art Research Association, and an instructor of School of Continuing Education of Central Academy of Fine Arts.
